Chris Sale is a professional landscape photographer based in Cumbria, on the edge of the Lake District National Park.
Originally from Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire in 2012 he realised a long held ambition and relocated to the Lake District. He now lives in Shap with his wife and their 2 cats, Teddy and Buttons.
In 2019 he turned his back on a 20 year career in IT to become a full-time photographer. “I wanted to dedicate more time to my passion for photography and for the Lake District”.
He now specialises in helping people that are new to photography to develop the skills needed to photograph the landscape with confidence. “The most rewarding part of my job is sharing what I have learnt with others so that they may capture beautiful images for themselves”.
When not working with other photographers he spends his time exploring the fells with his camera and sharing his experiences via his blog and YouTube channel.
