Kase Revolution Ring MCUV Entry Kit
One filter kit, several lenses.
The Kase Revolution Ring MCUV Entry Kit pairs a Revolution Plus magnetic MCUV protection filter and CPL with the adjustable Kase Revolution Ring. You don’t need a set of filters for every lens or a pocketful of step rings. Fit the Revolution Ring to whichever lens you’re using and the filters attach magnetically to the front.
How it works
Squeeze the clamping blocks on the Revolution Ring, place it on the front of the lens and let go. Four sliding latches move out to engage with the lens filter thread, holding the ring securely and evenly. The inlaid ring screws into the front of the Revolution Ring and gives you a magnetic mount for the filters and the pinch lens cap.
Which lenses does it fit?
The 82mm kit includes the 67-82mm Revolution Ring. That covers lenses with filter threads from 67mm to 82mm, and the filters are 82mm to match the ring’s front thread. The 67-82mm ring also works with the Kase Armour Magnetic Square Filter Holder, if you want to add square filters later.
The filters
- MCUV: a multi-coated UV filter that protects the front of your lens from dust, moisture and knocks, with minimal effect on the image. Ideal to leave on as everyday protection.
- CPL: a circular polariser for cutting reflections on water and glass, reducing glare and deepening blue skies.
Both filters use KW optical glass with Kase’s ultra-low reflectivity coating (0.1% reflectivity) to reduce glare and ghosting, and over 99% transmittance for true-to-life colour. They are waterproof, anti-oil, anti-scratch (8H+ hardness), anti-mildew and impact-resistant, with a slim frame to help control vignetting on wide-angle lenses.
