Description
Built for the moments when the brightest part of the scene sits right on the horizon, the Kase KW Revolution Plus Reverse GND0.9 helps you keep detail in intense sunrise and sunset skies without darkening the top of the frame too heavily. Unlike a standard graduated filter, a reverse GND places the strongest density through the centre (around the horizon line) and then fades upwards, giving you a more natural balance when the sun is low.
This is a fixed graduated filter (not adjustable), so the gradient position is built into the glass for consistent, repeatable results. Made from Kase KW optical glass, it’s designed for strong colour neutrality and clean, accurate tones.
Reverse graduation for sunrise and sunset control
With a 0.9 density (equivalent to 3 stops), this filter reduces brightness where it’s usually most extreme, helping prevent blown highlights around the horizon while keeping the rest of the sky looking believable. It’s especially useful for seascapes, flat landscapes, and any scene with a clear horizon.
