Workshop Information
Workshop Checklist
A checklist of items you may wish to consider bringing along with you to the workshop It is by no means an exhaustive list but I hope it may help you with your preparations:
Equipment
- An L-Bracket for the base of your camera – I find it invaluable when interchanging between horizontal & vertical compositions
- A Tripod
- Tripod Spikes – a welcome addition to provide the tripod extra stability when on soft ground
- A Cable Release – important when trying to capture water movement without using the inbuilt camera shutter delay. Pressing the shutter at the right time is vital when capturing water movement
- Spare camera batteries – if the weather turns cold, the battery life will reduce.
- Spare SD Cards – if your camera has a dual card facility, please use it so that you have a back up of your images
- A Polariser and ND Filters
- Camera Lens cloths
- A portable hard drive for you to back up your images at the end of each day – just in case your SD card becomes corrupted or lost later in the trip
Clothing
- Walking Boots
- Wellington Boots
- Thermal Underwear or Baselayers
- Layers of clothing
- Fleeces or Hoodies
- Waterproof Jacket
- Caps or Bobble Hats
- Gloves
