Proposed Workshop Itinerary – Subject to Conditions
Vereley & Oakley Focus
Sunrise
- Vereley Inclosure – atmospheric ancient beeches and oaks, perfect for misty morning light and woodland compositions.
- Guided session on using light direction, layering, and foreground interest in woodland.
Mid-Morning
- Move to Oakley Inclosure – different structure of trees and paths, good contrast to Vereley.
- Coffee/snack break, with focus on simplifying woodland chaos and identifying natural leading lines.
Lunch
- Picnic in the forest or local café in Burley.
Afternoon
- Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary area – mix of high canopy woodland and the chance of spotting deer.
- Teaching: wildlife settings, patience in forest light.
Golden Hour/Sunset
End-of-day recap, optional editing demo if time/space allows.
Rhinefield Ornamental Drive – grand avenues, giant redwoods, late light streaking through.

Full payment is required to secure your place on the workshop.

Cancellations & Refunds

If you cancel, refunds may be considered but only if we can res-sell your place.

If we cancel the workshop (e.g. due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered either a refund or the option to transfer to another date.

Weather Conditions

Workshops will generally go ahead in all weather unless conditions are unsafe.

Please dress appropriately and bring suitable protection for yourself and your equipment.

Transport & Meeting Point

Travel to and from the agreed meeting point is not included and is your responsibility.

We cannot be held liable for delays, missed connections, or parking issues.

Meals, drinks, and snacks are not included. Please bring your own or make arrangements locally.

Please follow any guidance given during the workshop, particularly when working near roads, water, or uneven terrain.
